Plan Your Asset Migration Strategy

For live games with existing player assets, this is the most critical strategic step.

This is the cleanest and safest approach. Instead of moving old assets, you relaunch on WSC and issue new, identical assets to your players.

  1. Snapshot: Take a "snapshot" of all player asset ownership (NFTs, tokens) on the old chain at a specific block height.

  2. Deploy: Launch your game and its new asset contracts on Wall Street Chain.

  3. Airdrop: Airdrop the new assets directly to the players' wallets on WSC based on the snapshot.

  4. Communicate: Clearly announce that the old assets are now deprecated and the new assets on WSC represent true ownership.

Option 2: The Bridge Approach

For games that require a continuous flow of assets between chains, a bridge is necessary. This is more complex but offers more flexibility.

  1. Utilize a Bridge: Use a secure, audited bridge to allow players to "lock" their assets on the old chain and "mint" a wrapped version on Wall Street Chain.

  2. The Official WSC Bridge: Our native Inter-Trench Communication Protocol (ITCP) will be the most secure and efficient way to bridge assets from major chains like Ethereum. We highly recommend using official, battle-tested solutions over third-party bridges.
